Who is Ian Jackson

Ian Jackson is the founder and CEO of Ordinary Odds, an Atlanta-based fashion and footwear brand he launched in 2016. What began as an idea while he was still a student has evolved into a decade-long journey of building an independent brand rooted in creativity, culture, and ownership.

A Morehouse College graduate with a background in finance, Ian has built his career at the intersection of business, fashion, and entrepreneurship. Today, he’s focused on growing Ordinary Odds into a global brand while encouraging the next generation of creatives to take ownership of their ideas and build something of their own.

This is not a keynote. It’s a conversation, and these are the questions on the table:

  • What actually happened the year he left school, and what he’d tell a founder who feels like quitting right now
  • How an apparel brand goes from a screen-printed shirt to sneakers with a following, and where the money went wrong along the way
  • The moment he almost stopped, and what changed
  • How he built a brand people wear as identity, not just clothing
  • What he does now that he wishes he’d done in year one
